Where do you get your protein? What about protein? Protein, protein, protein! There is such a focus and mis-conception in America about protein. Talks about how much and where to get protein from can almost incite a riot and certainly a few arguments. The truth is you can't argue with facts, and most people that scream 'animal protein is superior' simply have not done their research or read recent studies, and are in serious denial about the negative and damaging health effects it can have on our health. The reality is it's not ONE single nutrient that makes us healthy, it's a balance of all of them, and the right kind of protein, more importantly. It's this imbalance and intake of high amounts of the wrong type of protein that is harming our health. The wrong kind of dietary protein, such as whey, casein and other animal protein, is in fact destroying our bodies and causing heart disease, obesity and cancer in millions of Americans each year.
